Hurricane Katrina Aid and Resources

Posts to this blog have basically been suspended since Katrina hit the Gulf Coast (I will start back up next week).   If you are looking for a way to help Wilshire Baptist Church, is going to be taking donations and money to Baton Rouge on Monday.   For more information click here.  Or call/email Mark Wingfield, Associate Pastor Wilshire Baptist Church at 214.452.3128 or mwingfield@wilshirebc.org.

Brian Oberkirch, of Weblogs Work, lives in Slidell (he is now in Dallas with his family) and he setup a quick blog to detail hurricane damage in Slidell that can be found here

I am trying to find out what happened to my sister’s house located on the North Shore in the Wrigiley’s community. She has evacuated and is safe, but has no way to return home to asset the damage. The home is off of Old Spanish Trail in the direction of Lake Ponchatrain and her house sits right on the water. If anyone knows anything about that area I would be most grateful. THANK YOU
